10 Most Outstanding Filipino Entrepreneurs on 2009

Posted by Manny on August 12th, 2010

I really don’t know what is the criteria (aside from beating the odds in 2009) for crowning (sorry I can’t think of other terms) those entrepreneurs as the most outstanding Filipino entrepreneurs last 2009 but it is on the Entrepreneur magazine on the December 2009 issue. Many businesses have survived last year and not only them. My hunch is maybe they had an unexpected growth or more revenue created than any other businesses.

Nevertheless I will just give their names and their business names on the list below but if you want to know more about them, then get a copy of the Entrepreneur magazine.

So those are the outstanding Filipino entrepreneurs last year. By the way I just want to make a comment regarding the technology side of their businesses. I mean on the world wide web. I notice that only one doesn’t have a website, which is  VIVIAN SARABIA OPTICAL. And among the websites that I visited from them, only three websites are appealing and has a good website design. What I mean about good design is the ease of navigation, visitors are not confused on where to go and visual appeal. Those are Mang Inasal, Pizza Pedrico and Aquabest. Pizza Pedrico’s is great on the design and very attractive but it loads too slow because of the flash animations and it looks like it will not be good on search engine optimization like Mang Inasal and Aquabest.

Setting the mind does wonder. Moving to Norway answered most of my prayers. Having lived in Norway for over 30 years now, a good economy is a must since everything here is expensive. Being a single parent with 2 children, I’m struggling to keep ends meet. My challenge every single month is making a months’ budget. It’s almost funny and ridiculous because the truth is… I’m working on a tight budget that hardly covers my expenses. A lot of head scratching, thinking, doing and redoing calculation. What am I doing? But I’m doing it anyway. My reason perhaps was to get the whole economic perspective. I’ve come to this point in my life where I’m tired of not having enough money. I want to be able to travel with my children whether it be high or low season, bond and enjoy time with them. See and experience things with them. I want to be able to travel first class and live in a first class hotel, eat first class. I want to be able to do this without thinking of my budget. Who wouldn’t want that? This is my dream. And from that day onward, I’ve made this dream into my goal and my reality! One day, as I was surfing aimlessly through the internet, I found Lena Bjorna, my sponsor of CarbonCopyPRO. I read her website just like all the other websites I surfed into. I continued anyway surfing to other sites. But there was “something” in CarbonCopyPRO that really caught my attention that I have to go back. It felt like seeing and wanting a dress in a shop and you can’t stop thinking about that specific dress. That was certainly what I felt. The more I went deeper into CarbonCopyPRO, the more convinced I became that this is it. This is for me. This can give me the life that I wanted to live. Let me tell you this, I’m a sceptical person. It takes a long time and effort to convince me. It got to be good. Really, really, really good. When I signed into CarbonCopyPRO, I didn’t expect that I’d be overwhelmed with all the informations I got from the community. The support that they have for their members, their training, events and webinars are just so amazing! I felt that they were there for me and for my success 101%. I told myself…my….you really got to do your part in this, Elizabeth! The word “CHALLENGE” was blinking before my eyes. Don’t forget that I am a ballet teacher. I know my plie, tendu, pirouette, arabesque. But here, I’m confronted with terminologies that I’ve never encountered or heard of in my entire life. It’s a whole new world for me. I don’t have any marketing experience or the skills!! But hey….as they said : If you want something you have never had before, you have to do something you have never done before. Be a risk taker! I’m embracing this challenge with open arms and open legs. And that’s definitely what I did. This is where I am right now. I belong to a top earner group. My mentor, Lena Bjorna, a Norwegian is the first top female earner ever of CarbonCopyPRO. CarbonCopyPRO is an education company. It has a highly effective marketing system. They provide a top-notch training in internet marketing and many offline methods too. What I think is great, while getting my training, I earn money online! I’m really excited about this program because it made me see things differently. I see that there is really an alternative to earn 5 digit or more!!! Here’s for the good life! Watch me move!!!

I have been reading this blog for a while. While I was searching for topics about entrepreneurship in the Philippines. I have been inspired to see many filipino entrepreneurs arise “from rugs to riches” as they say. I found my passion about internet marketing programs and through this blog of yours Manuel, I now decide to start a blog about netrepreneurship in the Philllipines, a part of growing market and technology. Good luck on this very awesome blog. God bless…

I was told to avoid the business all together because of the rejection. People would say to me, ‘Don’t you want to have a normal job and a normal family?’ I guess that would be good advice for some people, but I wanted to act.
